Ezra Joseph Bagwell, 89, of Amarillo, died Friday, Dec. 15, 2000. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Memorial Chapel, 315 E. Fifth Ave., with Dr. Danna Moore of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church and the Rev. David Bagwell of First Baptist Church in Liberal, Kan., officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Bagwell moved from Arkansas to Texas in 1924. A former mason, he was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, Men's Senior Class and Senior Citizens. He married Mary Bagwell in 1934. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Charles Bagwell of Amarillo and James Bagwell of Lawton, Okla.; a brother, Royal Bagwell of Daisetta; two sisters, Eudora Fagen of Glenwood, Ark., and Clara Mae Gaskin of Beaumont; three grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
