Maxine Bills Garlick , age 84, passed away March 1, 2005 in Nephi, Utah.

She was born April 29, 1920 in Clear Creek, Utah to James Winston and Eliza Charlotte Jensen Bills.

She married Ray E. Garlick October 16, 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were later sealed in the Manti Temple in 1959. He passed away December 17, 2003.

She was raised in Fountain Green, Utah and moved to Nephi in 1963.

She was active in the LDS Church and served in many callings.

She is survived by six children, Beulah Ferry, Provo, Luana (Jack) Burton, West Valley, Arlene Cleverly, Magna, Karen (Robert) Lyman, Nephi, Linda (Robert) Talbot Palmyra; Ellis (Debbie), Payson; 29 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; brother, Boyd Bills.

Preceded in death by a son Ricky Lynn Garlick; a son-in-law, Norton Cleverly; a sister, Vera Jensen and brother, Alton Bills.

The family would like to thank her nurses, Teresa, Angie and Julie, and the staff of the hospital in Nephi.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 7, 2005 in the Nephi 3rd Ward, 345 East 500 North.

Friends may call Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North and at the church one hour prior to the services.

Interment will be in the Nephi Vine Bluff Cemetery.
