Mrs. Barbara Lechleitner. one of Palatka's most highly esteemed pioneer residents, died Saturday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Thomas Livingston, in Bungalow Park. The news of her death came as a surprise to the community in which she had resided for so many years, as she had been in her usual health. Friday, however, she suffered an attack of acute indigestion, and her condition steadily grew worse until Saturday night at about 10 o'clock death came to her relief.

The deceased was seventy-three years of age, and was a native of Ohio. Thirty-six years ago the family moved to Palatka, and this has ever since been her home. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. S. A. Berner of Sanford, Mrs. A. Grambling of Ohio and Mrs. Thomas Livingston of Palatka, and by three sons, Alfred Lechleitner, of Selma, Ala.; Lee Lechleitner, of New York, and P. A. Lechleitner, of Kansas.

The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock, the interment being in the Catholic Cemetery. (Times-Herald Obituary dtd Friday, 4 Aug 1922.)
