Survivors include his wife, Victoria Cruz; a son, Frank Cruz, St Joseph; a daughter, Mrs Rosendo Hernandez, St. Joseph; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 stepsons, Edward Almanza, George Almanza, Thomas Almanza, all of St. Joseph; five stepdaughters, Mrs Robert Deaton and Mrs Robert Soper, both of St. Joseph; Mrs Neil Massie, Jamestown, Ohio; Mrs John Owens,Sunnymead, Ca., Mrs. Lloyd Cridlebaugh, Platte Woods; two brothers, Alfonza Cruz, and Jesse Cruz, both of St. Joseph; four sisters, Mrs. Frank Montemore, Mrs. Mauricio Barbosa, Mrs. Mercedes Rocha and Mrs. Socorro Rodriguez, all of St. Joseph. Burial at Mount Olivet.
