Joshua Lavon Griffith, age 31 of Joplin, Mo. went to be with the lord on Saturday May 31, 2008, due to a sudden illness.

Josh was born on November 6, 1976, he is the son of Larry and Debbie Griffith. Josh had a personal relationship with Jesus and he is with him now. Josh's family was the most important thing to him in life; he also had a passion for hunting. Josh worked at Williams Machine Shop in Galena, Ks. for ten years.

He married Becky Wetherell on July 11, 1998. He is survived by his wife Becky, his two sons, Derrick, age 7, and Anthony, age 3, of the home. His parents Larry and Debbie Griffith of Reeds, Mo., in-laws Bill and Sally Wetherell of Joplin. Also by his grandmothers Hazel Griffith of Sarcoxie, Mo. and Betty Henderlite of Imperial Beach, Ca. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ted Griffith and Ralph Henderlite, and by his brother Jeffrey Griffith. We love him and will miss him until the day we are reunited again.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday June 5, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Mason-Woodard Mortuary Chapel, Minister Gary Morrison will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate monetary gifts to be made at the home at 806 Empire, Joplin, Mo. 64801.
