Madison hospital. The former Elizabeth
Hefty was born on November 1, 1902 in
Monticello. She and her husband
farmed in the Verona area for many
years. After moving to Verona, Mrs.
Naef worked for the Carnes
Corporation and Ballweg's Restaurant.
She was a member of Salem United
Church of Christ. She is survived by
her husband, Fred; a son, Delmar of
Verona; two daughters, Mrs. Leona
Mldthun of Verona, and Mrs. Dorothea
Erb of Mt Horeb; nine grandchildren;
and a great grandson.
