LEBANON Funeral services for Connie Haile Lowery will be held Thursday, Feb. 1, at 11 a.m. in Partlow Funeral Chapel.

Burial will be in Crest Lawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends Wednesday, Jan. 31, from 3-7:30 p.m. and Thursday, Feb. 1, from 9-11 a.m. at the chapel.

Mrs. Lowery died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2007.

She was born to Evelyn Bailey Haile and the late Judge Thomas H. Haile.

Mrs. Lowery was an avid horsewoman who bred walking horses and was a longtime member of the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeder's Association & Exhibitors. She also championed the cause of all four legged friends.

She worked hard in support of the Humane Association of Wilson County. Mrs. Lowery was born in Nashville and was a graduate of Tennessee Technological University. She was also a member of Broad Street Church of Christ.

In addition to her mother, her family includes her husband, B.F. "Jack" Lowery Sr. of Lebanon; sisters and brother-in-law
Alicia Haile and Jim Flood and Jean Evelyn (Evie) Haile; a stepdaughter and step son-in-law, Wendi Lynn and Danny Dalby; stepson Jack Lowery Jr.; granddaughter Nancy Katherine Dalby; and devoted friend and caregiver Margaret Cook.

In addition to her father, Mrs. Lowery was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas David Haile, Sr., our father, Thomas H. Haile and niece Janet Marie Haile.
