Services for Eva Lucinda Carter, 97, of Ruston, LA will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2002 in the Edmonds Funeral Home Chapel in Jonesboro. Officiating will be Rev. Malcolm Self. Interment will be in Jonesboro Cemetery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
Mrs. Carter died Monday, June 3, 2002 at Lincoln General Hospital. Mrs. Carter was born in Jonesboro, but was a resident of Ruston. She was a housewife.
Survivors include three daughters, Floy Eva Carter Porter and husband, J. L., and Jeraldine Tolar, all of Ruston, LA, and Livie Beatrice Carter Tolar and husband, George, of DeSoto, TX.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening, June 5, 2002 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Edmonds Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
