Rites Are Held For Mrs, Foster
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon in the Chapman Funeral Home chapel for Mrs. Delilah Jane Foster, who died Friday at her home north of Tishomingo after an illness of four years.
Mrs. Foster was born in Texas November 30, 1881 and moved to the Cedar Ridge community in 1920. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, C.V. Foster; three sons, J.I. Upton, J.W. Upton, and Clarence Foster, Tishomingo, three daughters, Mrs. Orabell Shelton, Tishomingo, Mrs. Jozette Baze, Lexington, Mrs. Leona Slover, Anadarko; four brothers, W.M. Graham, El Reno, C.L. Graham, Warner, Tom Graham, Asher, Marion Graham, Coffeyville, Kans., and a sister Mrs. Sarah Herriman, Coffeyville, Kans.
Services were conducted by Rev. L.E. Vandiver with the Chapman Funeral Home in charge of arrangements, burial was in Condon Grove Cemetery.
