Obituary:
MARY ANN DUSTIN

Mary Ann Blackwell was born in Newton County, Ark., March 16, 1862, and passed away at Cascade, Idaho, May 3, 1928, at the age of 66 years.

In 1875, making the journey by ox team, she came overland with her parents; settling in Grant County, Oregon. In 1904 she came with her husband and children to Idaho, residing variously in McCall, New Meadows and the Warren Country. In 1923 they came to Cascade and since that time have made this their home.

In Grant County, Oregon in 1879 she was married to John Carrey and to this union was born nine children; Jenny, Esther, Raymond, Clement, Leona, Thomas, Robert, Bradford, and Mary. Three have preceeded her in death.

John Carrey passed away March 13, 1896.

In April, 1897, she was married to B.O. Dustin at Long Creek, Oregon. To this union were born Bailey M. of Warren, Idaho and Opal Balispy, formerly of Portland, now of Cascade. She was the mother of 13 children, two of whom died in extreme infancy.

She leaves to morn her loss, eight living children, her husband B.O. Dustin; nine brothers and sisters and 14 grandchildren. She was a sister of C.W. Blackwell of McCall.

She was a good wife and a wonderful mother and besides these griefstricken dear ones, she leaves a host of friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services were conducted from the community M.E. Church, Cascade, by Rev. John Hollister, assisted by Rev. John H. Schenck, after which a funeral cortege carried the body to McCall where it was laid to rest.
