MRS. FRANK DRUYOR CLAIMED BY DEATH SATURDAY MORNING

Rev. Fred Cook, of Gypsum has Funeral Service at The Home here Monday.

Another of Ottawa county's aged residents passed on to her reward early last Saturday morning, after a lingering illness, when death claimed the active and useful life of Mrs. Frank Druyor, 82, at the home of her son, Allen Clement Druyor in Bay township, Saturday morning.

Mrs. Druyor was one of Bay townships best known women, having lived in the community, continuously since 1872, when she moved there with her husband. Her death coming at this time was a severe shock to the legion of friends, who always looked to her as a friend.

Mrs. Druyor was born in Lucas county, November 16, 1850, the daughter of Lyman and Mary Allen. Sometime after her birth the family moved to Oak Harbor, where she grew to young womanhood. On December 4, 1872, she was united in marriage to Frank Druyor in Oak Harbor, and the happy young couple moved to a farm in Bay township to establish their home. The couple lived there until July 22, 1924, when Mr. Druyor passed away.

They were the parents of three children, two of whom are living. Cornelius died on March 19,1920, and husband and father on July 22, 1924. The other two children to survive are Cameron Albert Druyor of Cherokee, Iowa, and Allen Clement Druyor of Bay township. Mrs. Druyor had lived with her son in Bay Township most of the time since the death of her husband eight years ago. Besides the two sons living, there are 21 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday from the late residence of Albert C. Druyor, with Rev. Fred Cook of Gypsum conducting the services. Her body was carried to its last resting place in Lakeview Cemetery by six grandsons, Leo, Ward, Elmer, Wesley, Alvin, and Adair Druyor.
