Cornelius Durell Druyor, was born in Bay township, this county, Dec. 7, 1874 and departed this life March 19, 1920 at the age of 45 years, 3 months and 12 days. He was the eldest son of Frank and Arrilla Druyor. On the 27th of July 1899 he was united in marriage to Clara M. Carnicom to which union was born 10 children, two of which have preceded him in death. There remain to mourn his departure,
the sorrow-stricken wife, 5 sons and 4 daughters, an aged father and mother, and two brothers, Clement A., of Cherokee, Iowa and Albert C., of Bay township. May he rest in peace while we live in fond hope of a happy meeting somewhere in God's great eternity.
It will be recalled a 15-year old son of the deceased died a few weeks ago after short illness, the father being sick at the time and not expected to live. Funeral Monday p.m. from U.B.Church by pastor, Rev. F.W. Yantis.

Cornelius Druyor died at the Pool Hospital Friday night. He had pneumonia several weeks ago and last week suffered a relapse. He was about 45 years of age and was born and raised in Bay township. He was last employed at the Electric Service station in this city as a machinist. He leaves a wife and eight children. A son died during the winter of pneumonia. The funeral was held Monday afternoon from the U.B. church.
