Mar 23, 1922, Rigby Star, Rigby, Jefferson Co., Idaho:
Mrs. J.W. Arnsberger, Sr., of Butler Island, passed away in Portland, Ore., March 19th, and her body was brought to Rigby for burial Wednesday.

Emma Starrh Arnsberger was born in England in 1850 and came to the United States when a child. She was married in Nebraska City to James W. Arnsberger in 1869 and came to Idaho in 1900. She was taken to Portland in 1918 in hopes of bettering her health, where she died Sunday. Her husband passed away 12 years ago and is buried in the Rigby cemetery.

She is survived by two brothers, one sister, two daughters and two sons. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church in this city, Wednesday, and burial was made in the Rigby cemetery.

Mrs. Albert Rands arrived here on Wednesday from Portland. She accompanied the body of her mother, Mrs. J.W. Arnsberger, who passed away there Sunday. Burial was made in Rigby Wednesday.
