Kirkville – Toxie Taylor Lindsey, 90, died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010, at North Mississippi Medical Center. She was a homemaker and she was a Baptist.
Services were Jan. 22 at Waters Funeral Home with burial in Kirkville Cemetery.
Survivors included two daughters, Dean Gann and Sue Garrett; four sons, Dewayne "Slim" Lindsey (Linda), Holis "Shorty" Lindsey, Larry Lindsey and Joe Lindsey (Cheryl); nine grandchildren, Tammy Bailey (Lonnie), Jeffery Lindsey (Tonya), Brian Lindsey (Blaine), Tara Webb, Amy Umpress, Holis Lindsey II, Christy Lindsey, Jason Farquhar (Melaine) and Joey Lindsey (Lisa Ann); four stepgrandchildren, Donna Potts, Trista Potts, Davey Potts and Denise Potts; 14 great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Relmon H. Lindsey; her parents, C.C. and Roxie Ann Ward Taylor; three brothers, M.C. Taylor, Johnny Taylor and Joseph Taylor; four sisters, Mary E. Barnes, Bulah Lindsey, Alma Strickland and Vesta Mae Baxter; two grandchildren, Lisa Marie Lindsey and William Lindsey; one son-in-law, Everett Garrett.
