The Normangee Star Vol. XXVII No. 22, April 20, 1939 G. M. "Bud" Snow, a life long resident of Leon County, died at his home at Flynn Friday night just at midnight. He was buried Saturday afternoon in the Flynn Cemetery, Rev. J. B. Davis conducting the services. Mr. Snow was born April 24, 1868, and was almost exactly 71 years of age at the time of his death. He leaves three children, one girl Mrs. Essie Johnson of Electra, and two sons, Norman and Dewey. Mrs. Snow preceded him in death about three years. When the Star man first came to Normangee, Mr. Snow was County Commissioner for this precinct. He has held a prominent position in his community for a long time and will be missed.
