Elsworth "Pete" Allington, 78, of Lebanon died Sunday evening, February 14, 1999, in Breech Medical Center in Lebanon. He was a longtime Junior High School custodian and bus driver for R-III Schools of Lebanon.

He is survived by his wife, Catherine, of the home; three sons, Dale Allington, Lawrence, KS; Tim Allington, of the State of Arkansas; two daughters, Suzie Boone, of the State of Colorado; Diane Sellar of Rich Hill, MO; a step-son, Keith Morgan of Cresswell, OR; two step-daughters, Barbara Perry of Camdenton and Georgia Blauch, of the State of Pennsylvania; also a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Elsworth "Pete" Allington were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 17, 1999, in the Holman-Howe Chapel with Rev. Sam Simmonds officiating. Burial was in Mount Rose Memorial Park under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon.

A memorial to the Alzheimer's Foundation has been established.
