Mrs. Blanche Ethel Bochard, 84 former Eastern Ave. resident died at 8:30 am Wednesday at the Greenfield Hospital following an extended illiness. She had been a resident at the Greenfield Manor Nursing Home.

The funeral will be at 2 pm Saturday at the Fawcett-Oliver Funeral Home with the Rev. Floyd Fought officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.Friends may call after 4 pm Friday at the funeral home. Memorial tributes may be made to the Ross Co. Cancer Society.

Born on Sept. 13,1885 in Ross Co., she was the daughte of George W. and Sarah Arledge Stout.

On Dec. 24,1907 she married to Carl Bochard who died on Dec. 11, 1952

She is survived by a daughter Mrs. Mason (Ellen) Hinkle,this city, three grandchildern, three great-grandchildern, a sister Mrs. Forrest (Betty) Noble and a brother Herbert Stout both of Chillicothe.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and its Women's Society of Christian Services and had been a Sunday School Teacher for 25 years. She also belonged to the Women's Chritian Temperance Union.
