She was baptized, confirmed and married at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Joplin, being a lifelong member there since 1925.
She is survived by one sister, Esther Frank, of Austin, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and numerous great and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Tom Carmon, preceded her in death in 1978.
She was the last living heir of Charles Schiefferdecker, who resided in the Joplin area.
Funeral services will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, on Tuesday, Nov. 23, at 10 a.m. with visitation at the church beginning at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Webb City, Mo. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.thornhilldillon.com care of the mortuary. Arrangements are under the personal direction of the Thornhill-Dillon Mortuary in Joplin. Memorials can be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Joplin.
