The services were conducted by Billy Dollar, Church of Christ minister from Houston. Burial was in the Marquez cemetery with the Riddle Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Grayson was born in Marquez and lived there all his life. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert E. Souther; two brothers, B. A. Grayson, of Marquez, and E. V. Grayson, of Houston; six sisters, Mrs. Eula Hodge, Oklahoma City; Mrs. Guy Love, Corsicana, and Mrs. Lizzie Barkley, Mrs. Mary Norris, Mrs. Gladys Bryant, and Mrs. Jewell Reed, all of Marquez, and two grandchildren.
He was the uncle of Dr. W. L. Carrington of Mexia, and Mrs. H. A. Burleson, of Wortham.
Pallbearers were O. T. Hodges, D. B. Grayson, J. A. Martin, D. J. Bryant, and Elmo Lanier.
