Mrs. Carolyn Polk Carpenter, 67, of Marshville, NC, died Tuesday October 19, 2010 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Jerry Carpenter.
Graveside service will be held Friday October 22, 2010 at 11:00AM in Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Marshville, NC. Visitation will follow the graveside service in the cemetery.
Carolyn is survived by her brother Mr. Roy Polk of Marshville and a sister Mrs. Margaret Ennis of Marshville, NC. She is also survived by her daughter at heart Amy Nance Scanlan, and her grandchildren at heart Hannah Scanlan and Seth Nance.
