Comer Williams August 24, 1920 - July 7, 2004 COLUMBUS, GA - Comer Williams, 83, of Columbus died at The Medical Center of Columbus Wednesday, July 7. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, July 9 in Parkhill Cemetery.
Mr. Williams was born Aug. 24, 1920 in Dothan, Ala., son of the late Archie and Alma Williams. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his wife Frances Williams in February of this year.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Vivian and Bill Taber of Columbus; a son, Tony Williams of Jacksonville, Fla.; a brother, Leonard Williams of Dothan, Ala.; a sister, Ateree Scott, Pinkard, Ala.; three grandchildren, Donna Harbert of Columbus, Amy Dougherty and her husband, David of Jacksonville, and Julie Fedick and her husband, Jimmy of Jacksonville; six great grandchildren, Bo McCarty of Columbus, Ashley and Matt Harbert of Columbus, Lindsey Williams of Jacksonville, Ashley and Emily Doughtery of Jacksonville.
