He was born August 15, 1978 in Springfield, IL to John and Laura Baker Kohlrus. He is survived by his girlfriend Julie Tucker of Springfield; his mother; Laura (Tom) Hill of Oblong, IL and father; John (Mary Jo) Kohlrus of Springfield, IL; two sisters Courtney (Jesse) Griffin of Riverton and Caysee Kohlrus of St. Louis, MO; three step-brothers John Edmison of Springfield, T.J. Hill of Manito, IL and Joe Hill of Oblong, IL; three step-sisters Tammy Attaway of Robinson, IL, Jillian Strete of Finley, OH and Katelyn Hill of Oblong, IL; numerous aunts and uncles; a niece Adriana Griffin; a nephew Talon Griffin and several cousins.
Christopher was a resident of St. Louis for 7 years and worked as a Loan Analyst. He graduated from Sacred Heart Griffin in 1996 and SIU-Carbondale in 2000. Christopher enjoyed Notre Dame Football, St. Louis Cardinals, golf and motorcycle races.
Visitation: 4-7pm, Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Staab Funeral Home
Funeral: 10 am, Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Staab Funeral Home. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. John's Breadline, SHG Athletic Department or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
