Kendall Harding Powell, the baby buried with the mother, was born April 14, 1921.
She leaves to mourn her loss four children: Chester 12, Cleo 10, Marie 8, Darwin 6. Her mother, Mrs. Mary Akes, brother, George Akes, of Centerville, father William Akes, and sister Dora Akes both of Pringle, S. Dakota.
Mrs. Powell was a kind and loving mother and friend to all who knew her.
She became a Christian while quite young and had tried to lead a Christian life.
The funeral Services were conducted by Reverend Sawyers, at the Presbyterian church Thursday afternoon 2:00 o'clock and interment was made in Centerville cemetery.
