Florence E. Smith, 51, of 704 S. Jersey, died Thursday (Aug 23,1984) at home.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel, Mason City, with the Rev. Philip Sorenson of the Calvary Alliance Church, officiating. Burial will Be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City.
Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral chapel.
Mrs. Smith was born to Frederick Easley, Sr. and Susanna (Gunnels) Easley, Feb 21, 1933 in Mason City. She was a graduate of Mason City, High School and lived most of her life in Mason City until moving to Fort Dodge in 1973. She worked as a mill inspector at Central Lab, Fort Dodge, for 10 years.
She married Martin Rasmussen on March 6, 1954 in Freeborn, County, Minn., and was a member of the AFL-CIO, Fort Dodge.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Scott (Maria) Anderson, Mason City; one son, Michael Rasmussen, with the U.S. Marine Corps in Quantico, Va.; her mother, Susanna Easley, Mason City, four grandchildren, and five brothers, Fred Easley Jr., John and Floyd Easley, all of Mason City; Leon Easley, Reno, Nev., and Thomas Easley, Kensett.
