Mrs.Goldie Seldomridge, 77,, died Saturday at 4:20 am in a Charleston hospital after a short illness.
Born August 28, 1904, in Raleigh County, she was a daughter of the late Caslo and Emma Etta Payne Richmond. Mrs. Seldomridge had lived most of her life in Hinton and was a member of the First Christian Church.
Survirors include two sons, Lloyd of Hinton and Billy Joe Seldomridge of Toledo, Ohio; two stepsons, Eldon of Lynchburg, Va and Leonard of Huntington; four stepdaughters, Mrs. Clarice Crance, Mrs. Bernice Marks and Mrs. Norma Parks all of Lynchburg, Va and Mrs. Evelyn Wilson of Roanoke, Va. two brothers, Edgar Richmond of Hinton and Minyard Richmond of Toledo, Ohio. five sisters, Mrs. Mildred Kania and Mrs. Marcia Kuhr both of West Palm Beach, Fla; Mrs. Zella McMillion of Reno, Nev., Mrs. Voda Reese of Beckley and Mrs. Emmajean Therrian of St. Ignace, Mich. seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday at 2pm at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors in Hinton with the Rev. Lance Yost officiating. Burial followed in the Restwood Memorial Gardens at Hinton.
