Esther Elizabeth Foster was born September 7, 1840 at Kingston, DeKalb, Ill. In 1866 she married to Alexander Sanderson and moved to Pettis County, MO. in 1867. In 1870 she moved with her husband to Crawford County, KS and lived there until 1880, when they moved to Crescent, Okalhoma, where she died April 25, 1907. The funeral was conducted at the Union Church on Friday April 26, 1907 at 2 p.m. Elder R. E. Horn conducted the services. The Eastern Star, of which she was a member, conducted a beautiful floral ceremony at the church. Interment was east of town (in the Crescent Cemetary, South East section of the old cemetary) (Source Logan County News, Crescent Okalhoma May 3, 1907). Occupation Teacher- Member of the Crescent Chapter No. 164 of the Eastern Star, had 2 brothers and 1sister).
