Margaret A. “Maggie” Taylor was born January 30, 1866, somewhere in Texas. On 08 August 1882, Maggie Taylor married Henry Ward Stratton. They raised a large family of twelve children, born between 1883 and 1908. They moved from Williamson County to Brown County, Texas before 1898. There, they lived the remainder of their lives. Maggie died on 21 February 1913 and Henry Ward died 24 April 1924. They both died in Brown County and are buried in the Salem Cemetery, west of Bangs, Texas.
