Steven Corcoran, known to all as Steve, died at Jack Haugland farm Thursday night, after an illness of many months. Not much is known of his family history but he is said to be survived by two sisters in Washington and a brother in Boone county, Nebr. He made his home for many years at the Link Applegate home near Sutherland and was well liked by all who knew him. During his illness he received the best of care but to no avail.
The services for Steve Corcoran were conducted by Rev. Tschida at the Sutherland cemetery after which he was laid to rest there in a lot furnished by Mr. Applegate.
