She was born in Staten Island, NY, on October 9, 1938 to the late Alfred and Louise (Thorne) Wabo. Anne received a Bachelor of Arts Degree at Western New England College where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She had been employed by Catholic Charities for over 15 years and retired in June from CT Jobs First. Anne was a faithful communicant of Holy Family Church. She was an avid reader, loved traveling throughout Europe, and enjoyed trips to Nantucket with her family.
In addition to her husband, Art, Anne is survived by her loving children, Kathleen Atler of Tucson, AZ, Arthur J. Dickman and his wife, Joline, of Enfield, CT, Christopher Dickman and his wife, Wendy, of Portland, CT, and Peter Dickman, and his wife, Johanna, of Glastonbury, CT; her cherished grandchildren, Elyse Atler, Catherine Dickman and James Dickman; many nieces and nephews; and her special friend, Marie Karpelis. She was predeceased by her brother, Louis Wabo; and her sisters, Gladys Kuhlman, Alice Seabarkrob Moffat and Jane Booze.

Family and friends may gather at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday (October 30, 2010), for a procession to Holy Family Church, 23 Simon Road, Enfield, where a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Anne's life will held at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's King Street Cemetery.
