William Robert Barse CSM(R) William R. Barse died peacefully in his sleep on November 12, 2010. Bill was born in Bemidji, Minnesota 83 years ago. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth of 54 years, his five children, Robert Barse, Monica Whitlock, Sheryl Sims (Steven), Sheila Veatch (Michael), and William Barse, Jr., four grandchildren, Priscilla Whitlock-Coates (Dean), Kelly Carson, Michael Pitts (Teila), and Katie Jackson (Russell), five great-grand children, Miranda Coates, Brooke Coates, Luke Lumpkin, Maddy Jackson, and Marley Jackson. He also is survived by two brothers, Robert G. Barse and George Barse (Donna), and their children and grandchildren. The funeral will be held at Mountain View Garden Chapel with full military honors on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.
