"At Marblehead, on Tuesday last, after a few days illness, Dr. Elisha Story, aged 63. During his life, he, with the joint care of two wives, reared a family twenty-one children. During his residence in the town of Marblehead, for the term of 28 years, he was eminently useful in the line of his professions. Probity, integrity and benevolence, were prominent features in his character. He lived and died a professor of Christian Religion, and a firm firned to the Liberties of his country. The event of his death found him one of the Representatives of the townb; Chairman of the Overseers of the Poor, and Chairman of the School Committee of that town."
