MRS. MATTIE FORTUNE DIES
Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Jane Fortune, 71, long-time resident of Dallas who died Monday at the residence, 5311 Phillips, were held Tuesday at the Brewer Funeral Home. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery. Surviving are three sons, Horace B. Fortune, Dallas; Edgar F. Fortune and Robert F. Fortune, both of Waco; three daughters, Mrs. W. M. Hogue, Mrs. Charles T. Green, Mrs. E. N. Hanson, all of Dallas; a brother, Jack Cox; three sisters, Mrs. W. H. Potts, Mrs. Bernard Hanson, all of Dallas; Mrs. W. H. Winfrey of Austin; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
