William Crabtree

William "Bill" Crabtree, 77, of Ten Mile, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010, at Rhea Medical Center in Dayton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Rebecca Clowers Crabtree; his wife, Brenda Crabtree; and four sisters, Reba Kimbell, Jewell Overstreet, Helen Taylor and Cornelia Cade.

Survivors include his first wife, Opel Crabtree of Ten Mile; two daughters and one son-in-law, Tina and Mark Pettit of New Market, and Angela Flores of Dayton; one son, Michael Roberts of Tellico Plains; one sister, Johnnie Hixon of Ten Mile; and four grandchildren, Rebekah Pettit of New Market, and Bradley Roberts and D.J. and Brandon Marler, all of Dayton.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Kyker Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Levingood officiating. Burial will follow in Edgemon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Shiloh Baptist Church.

Kyker Funeral Home of Kingston is in charge of arrangements.
