Edmond Rogers Ray, 82, descendent and namesake of George Rogers Clark, the famous soldier, frontiersman, and citizen of early America, died Tuesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Annie Ray Presley, at Morrillton, Ark.
Mr. Ray was a resident of Dallas for 50 years. He was a native of Kentucky. Survived by daughters, son, and grandchildren.
The body will arrive in Dallas Thursday. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
