Earl Bacon died Monday morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Embree of Elliott. His death was caused by a stroke.
Earl was born May 7, 1881 at Grant, and for the past few years he has made his home with the Embrees near Elliott. He has been bedfast since early last winter. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in Grant at the church, with Rev. Arthur Henry of Elliott in charge and Rev. Frank Moore assisting. The pall bearers were George Stinemates, L. D. Foote, Arthur Stinemates, John Hendrickson, Forrest Parker, and Grant Embree. Burial was in the Grant Cemetery.
