Son of Presley Boleyn and Mary Ann (Hancock) Mahon, and brother of James Norfleet Mahon.

Married Frances "Fannie" Arnold on Jun 4, 1872 in Colorado Co., Texas.

Father of Cara Donald Mahon, Fannie N. (Mahon) Woods, Felix Gray Mahon, Anita Henning Mahon, Grace Meriwether (Mahon) Adam, Pressley Hancock Mahon, and Daisy Mahon.

DEATH OF JUDGE F. G. MAHON AT COLUMBUS
Judge Felix G. Mahon, justice of he peace at Columbus and for many years tax assessor of Colorado county, died at the family home in Columbus Saturday night. The funeral took place Monday, in that city [Interment in Odd Fellows' Rest]. Judge Mahon was well and favorably known to many people of this section. He was a cultured man, an old ex-Confederate soldier, and a splendid, good citizen in every respect. Our deepest sympathy goes out to his bereaved family.

F. G. Mahon, County Assessor of Taxes, is a Kentuckian by birth, but came to Texas when two years of age, his parents settling in this county, where he has since resided. He was elected Assessor in 1878, making a popular and efficient officer. He is noted for his genial disposition, liberal views, and is one of the best checker-players in Texas.
