William Taylor Palfrey of Louisiana, brother of Hon. John G. Palfrey, died at Franklin, Louisiana on the 29th ult. He was a man of considerable influence and undoubted integrity. He held the office of Judge in the State courts for a series of years, and was at one time a State Senator. He was twice married, his first wife being the sister of Hon. Mr. Conrad, Secretary of War.
