Mr. Daniel D. Efird 70, retired insurance salesman, died Sept. 15, 1994, at Stanly Memorial Hospital. Funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Martin's Lutheran Church. Visitation is 7 to 9 tonight at Hartsell Funeral Home.
Survivors are his son, James Efird of Raleigh; daughter, Ms. Denee Efird of Salisbury; sisters, Mrs. Madie Helms, Mrs. Dora Mae Smith, both of Salisbury, Mrs. Marylee Smith of Memphis.
