Burrell Newberry Brown is the son of Richard Newberry Brown and Margaret C. "Sallie" Kyle, daughter of William Kyle and Elenor Tucker Kyle. Burrell married (1)Ida Wilkerson on April 1, 1899. Burrell married Mittie Rosie Scrivner on February 17, 1910. Burrell and Mittie are the parents of 6 children.

Services held for B. N. Brown last Thursday

Services for Burrell Newberry Brown were held December 17th at Midway Methodist Church with Rev. R. T. Hollingsworth, Vaiden and Rev. M. J. Peden, Macon officiating. Mr. Brown passed away at his residence December 16th. He was 87.

Mr. Brown was born May 18, 1873, in Tennessee and married the former Miss Mittie Scrivner in 1920. He was a member of the Midway Methodist Church.

Survivors are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Roscoe Cox, Vaiden, Mrs. Janie B. Johnson, Indianola, three sons, Newberry Brown, Cleveland, Dudley Brown, Grenada, Marvin Brown, Dallas, Texas.

Pallbearers were E. A. (Butcher) Cook, Louis McDougal, Marvin Jones, Claude Cox, Rufus Cox, and John Boone.
