General Waymon L Dibrell, 90, died at his home in Sparta on Sunday. He was the last son of the late George G Dibrell, there being only one daughter.

Capt. W. L. Dibrell, County Court Clerk for White County, is a faultless official. He has held several positions of trust in White County. He was appointed Clerk and Master by Judge Goodpasture.. He was elected County Court Clerk in 1898 and is seeking reelection. He is fifty-nine years of age the oldest son of General Dibrell. He has a brilliant record as a Confederate soldier. He joined the Sixteenth Tennessee Regiment and was transferred to the Twenty-fifth Tennessee Regiment, thence to the Eighth Tennessee Cavalry. He has been married twice and has four children.
