Betty J. Dunn, 91 of State Route 7, Lisbon, OH died Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at East Liverpool City Hospital following a brief illness. She was born in East Liverpool, OH on November 12, 1919 and was the daughter of the late Charles F. Trainer and Hazel M. (Hoyt) Trainer Kiehl.
Mrs. Dunn retired in 1987 from the Beaver Local Middle School where she worked as a cook. She was a member of Faith Community Church and the Tri Angle Seniors, since it's conception.
Her husband, George H. Dunn died June 26, 2007. They were married April 7, 1939.
She is survived by two sons, William Dunn and his wife, Sue of Ashtabula, OH and David Dunn of Pleasant Hills, CA; a daughter, Patricia A. Wright of Lisbon, OH; a brother, Laverne Kiehl of Lisbon; eight grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Besides her parents and husband, a daughter, Jennifer Fitch, two brothers, Clyde Robert Trainer and Charles F. Trainer and a sister, Dorothy Barnhart preceded her in death.
Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Friday, November 19, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Jeffery Nutter of the church officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home in Calcutta on Thursday, November 18, 2010 from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 PM.
