Obituary -
Franklin Fulford
Franklin Fulford, brother of Mrs. James Tompkins and Mrs. Olive Higgins, of Corning, died Sunday morning, June 2, 1929, at the home of his son, Raymond Fulford, near Bath.

Mr. Fulford, who was 73 years of age, was a life long resident of Hornby, with the exception of the past nine years when he had lived near Bath. He was the son of John and Susan Fulford, pioneer settlers of Hornby, and before his removal to Bath had resided on the family homestead, living in the same house for 40 years.

A man of sterling character, honored and respected by all who knew him, Mr. Fulford was noted for his fine integrity and fair dealing with his fellow men. He had been in invalid for the past three years, being confined to his bed, but bore his intense suffering with greatest patience.

He is survived by two sons, Daniel L., and Raymond B. Fulford, both of Bath; a daughter, Cora M., of Patterson, N. J., three grandchildren, Leona and Ruby Fulford, of Bath, and Mrs. William Hayes, of Rochester; three sisters, Mrs. James Tompkins, of 7 Jennings street, Mrs. Olive Higgins, of Reynolds avenue, this city and Mrs. Eliza Gregory, of Elmira.

The funeral will be held from the home of his son, Raymond, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Daniel Brox, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church at Bath, will officiate. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery, this city.
