Funeral services for Gradie E. Knighten, 64, Allen, will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Allen Assembly of God, the Rev. Roy Robertson conducting rites. Burial will be in Allen Cemetery.

Criswell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Knighten died Sunday at his home. He was born Jan. 29, 1922 in Amity, Arkansas, to Noah Edward and Gracie Lee Craig Knighten. He married Wanda Gray August 1, 1955 in Kingston.

He attended Red Oak School and moved to Allen in 1961 from Healdton. He was a retired auto mechanic.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda, of the home; two daughters, Lisa Allsen, Seminole, and Jessie Boyd, Allen; one son Gary Pannell,Paoli; his mother Gracie McCormick, Allen; four brothers, Clarence Knighten, Sheridan, Arkansas, Floyd Knighten, Flint, Michigan, Melvin Knighten, Allen and Dewey Knighten,, Fort Worth, Texas; three sisters , Linda Smith, Camden, Arkansas, Willie McCormick and Ruth Williamson, both of Poolville, Texas; and seven grandchildren.

Bearers will be Fred Nickell, Cecil Spain, Wesley Rinehart, Marland Johnson, Jimmy Manual and Lesley Rinehart.

Friends may call at Criswell Funeral Chapel in Allen from 4 p.m. Monday until service time.
