Andrea Lynne Alladio died from spinal meningitis at the age of 2 and a half years of age. Her mother Linda Diane Quivey Alladio and father John Joseph Alladio had another son Eric Bjorklund and daughter Shawn Alladio at the time. Diana was pregnant with Andrea's younger brother Patrick at the time of her death. She was our parents 'darling'.
____
Andrea was the one child that looked most like our mother Diana. Her death was catastrophic for our family. Out mother placed Andrea on life support after her death and allowed to have Andrea's brain and organs gifted to science to try to find a cure for other children to help prevent possible death from this particular strain of the disease, which brought comfort to our mother.
My sister and I shared a bedroom and our mother would sew identical dresses for us by hand. She was a very good child, well behaved and our lives drastically changed the day she died. She suffered an illness less than 48 hours. Our mother thought she had a fever, she placed my older brother Eric and I in bed with Andrea. Andrea sat upright out of delirium and screamed out 'Momma' then fell back into a coma into our mother's bed. Our mother ran outside to neighbors asking for help, none would open their door, so she ran home and called a cab to go to the hospital. It was a horrible and heartbreaking experience. Every day I think of my sister Andrea and our wonderful amazing mother Diana, whom we all cherish so much in memory, they are in heaven together now and it brings us great comfort. All is forgiven and eternally loved. Our family has been blessed by God. - Shawn

Andrea's physical remains are interred next to a beloved set of twins in eternal rest in Babyland at the cemetery amongst many other little angels.
