Mr. Corbie L. Andrews, 89, of Ozark died late Saturday, November 13, 2010, in a Dothan Hospital. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 15, 2010, from the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home with the Reverend Mike Robinson officiating, interment will follow in the Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday with the family-receiving friends from 5:00 P.M. Until 7:00 P.M. Mr. Andrews was a native of Ozark, the son of Eleanor Goff Andrews and Grover Andrews. Upon graduation from High School he enlisted into the United States Navy serving on board ship in the Pacific Theater during World War II. Upon release from the Navy he started his career of 43 years at Dominy Chevrolet later Jerry Mitchell Chevrolet working in the same stall the entire time. He was always engaged in farming, raising Hogs and growing vegetables. After his retirement he continued his produce business supplying many people in Ozark with fresh produce. Corbie was a member of the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church in Ozark. His two Sisters and one Brother preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Byrd Smith Andrews, Ozark; and his Son: Mark Andrews, Ozark.
