In the 1880 census, Jacob was living in Black Creek Township, Shelby County, Missouri, with a Hugh M. and Mollie Baker. He was listed as, Jacob B. Cullar, a farm laborer, age 22, born in Missouri.

In the 1900 census Jacob and his family were living in Bourbon Township, Knox County, Missouri. Jacob was listed as a farmer age 37 born September 1862 in Missouri, his wife Margaret L. age 35 born October 1864 in Missouri, and their children listed were: Stella, age 7, born April 1892, Florence, age 5, born August 1895, Liddy. age 3, born June 1896 and Ernest born May 1900, and Everett born May 1900, all born in Missouri. Also his father John Culler Sr. born October 1816 in Pennsylvania.

In the 1910 census Jacob and his family were living in Bourbon Township, Knox County, Missouri. Jacob was listed as a farmer age 48 born in Missouri, his wife Margaret L. age 46 born in Missouri, and their children listed were: Florence I. age 15, Lydia M. age 13 and Ernest A. age 9, all born in Missouri. The census stated Margaret was a mother of 5 children, but only 4 were still living at that time. (NOTE-the age of Jacob in the census doesn't match with the birth year I have for him 1858.)

In the 1920 census, Jacob and his family were still living in Bourbon Township, Knox County, Missouri. He was listed as, Jacob B. Culler, a general farmer, age 59, born in Missouri, and his wife, Margaret Culler, age 56, born in Missouri, and their son, Ernest A. Culler, a farm laborer, age 19 born in Missouri.

In the 1930 census, Jacob was living with his son-in-law and daughter, J. Fred and Florence Wilson, in Bethel Township, Shelby Co., Missouri. He was listed as, Jacob B. Culler, a widow, age 72 born in Missouri. His son-in-law was listed as, J. Fred Wilson, head of household, a general farmer, age 40 born in Missouri, his daughter, Florence I. Wilson, age 36 born in Missouri, and their two sons, Darrell age 12, and Wilford age 7, both born in Missouri.
