Funeral Services Saturday Afternoon for Woman, 75
Mrs. Anna Isabell Lawson, 75, of 412 W. Hickory, died this morning in a Kirksville hospital.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 at the Dee Riley Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Archie Cooper. Interment will be in the Green Grove cemetery.
Mrs. Lawson was the daughter of Isaac S. and Malinda (Sanders) Coonfield, and was born in Adair county, Oct. 15, 1878. She was first married to Samuel P. Reese, and to this marriage three children were born, Mr. Reese preceding her in death. On Nov. 5, 1944, she was married to Richard Lawson.
She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. George (Jewell) Gill, Green City; two brothers, Ike Coonfield, Kirksville, and Dr. George W. Coonfield, Oklahoma City, Okla.; one sister, Mrs. Catherine Shoop, St. Louis; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild/
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, one brother and one sister.
Mrs. Lawson was a member of the Presbyterian church.
Bearers will be Willie Coonfield, Marshall Conner, Frank Lawson, Merle Coonfield, Wilbur Casey and Chris Degard.
