There are birth and death conflicts between Mr. King's headstone and his death certificate. His death certificate shows his date of birth as 9 June 1833 and his date of death as 3 February 1913. However, information in the death certificate, coupled with other documentation, establishes that the James Rufus King buried in Cemetery #3 is the same James Rufus King who migrated from Alabama to Frio county, Texas, in the 1850s and married Sarah Catherine Gardner in 1858. I think I know where Sarah Catherine Gardner is buried, but I don't have corroborating evidence.
