DOW BLOOMER
CLINCHPORT, Va., May 25--Dow Bloomer 72-year-old farmer and a life-long resident of Scott county died at 11 p.m. yesterday at his home here after an illness of two years.
He was a member of the Baptist church at Fairview, Va.
Mr. Bloomer is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mollie Bloomer; four sons Holly, Clinchport; Garfield, Fairview; Van, Roaring Fork, Va.; and Lloyd Bloomer, Jackson, Miss.; three daughters, Mrs. Henry Roberts, Clinchport; and Mrs. S. B. Lockhart and Mrs. H. K. Horton, Kingsport.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., today at the home with the Rev. Mr. Barnett and the Rev. Fate Hood officiating. Burial was In the Clinchport cemetery.
Pall bearers and flower bearers were selected from among friends.
