RANTOUL — Alice Zonfrilli, 94, of Rantoul passed away on the evening of Friday (June 29, 2018) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

She was born Sept. 27, 1923, in Modesto, a daughter of Howard and Clarice Sims. She married Thomas Dominick Zonfrilli on June 11, 1949, in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death Jun 25, 1996.

She is survived by two sons, Larry (Mary) Zonfrilli of Rantoul and John (Mary Jayne) Zonfrilli of Urbana; two grandchildren, Ben Zonfrilli and Suzanna Zonfrilli, both of Urbana; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, two brothers and an infant son, Michael.

Alice enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with family.

She worked for the U.S. Civil Service in Milwaukee and Chanute Air Force Base, retiring after more than 20 years. Her last position was as a secretary at the Chanute AFB Hospital Administration.

A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lux Memorial Chapel, 1551 E. Grove Ave., Rantoul. The Rev. Matt Bahnfleth will officiate. Burial will follow in Eden Park Cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at Lux Memorial Chapel.
